Wisdom 16:2

In contrast to their punishment, you blessed your people when they were famished. You prepared for them a tasty delicacy—a feast of quail!
Instead of which punishment, dealing well with thy people, thou gavest them their desire of delicious food, of a new taste, preparing for them quails for their meat:
But you, O Lord, did not punish your people in this way; instead, you showed them kindness. You sent them quails to eat, a rare, delicious food to satisfy their hunger.
Instead of this punishment, you benefited your people with a novel dish, the delight they craved, by providing quail for their food,
But in contrast to this punishment, you treated your people with kindness, sending them quail to eat, a rare delicacy to satisfy their hunger.
Instead of this punishment you showed kindness to your people, and you prepared quails to eat, a delicacy to satisfy the desire of appetite;
Instead of this punishment you showed kindness to your people, and you prepared quails to eat, a delicacy to satisfy the desire of appetite;
Instead of this punishment you showed kindness to your people, and you prepared quails to eat, a delicacy to satisfy the desire of appetite;
Instead of this punishment you showed kindness to your people, and you prepared quails to eat, a delicacy to satisfy the desire of appetite,
Instead of this punishment thou didst show kindness to thy people, and thou didst prepare quails to eat, a delicacy to satisfy the desire of appetite;
Instead of this punishment thou didst show kindness to thy people, and thou didst prepare quails to eat, a delicacy to satisfy the desire of appetite;
For which torments thou disposedest well thy people, to which thou gavest covetousness of their delighting a new savour, making ready meat to (or for) them a curlew, that is, a multitude of curlews. [For which torments thou disposedest well thy people, by which thou gave coveting of their delight a new savour, preparing curlew meat to them.]
