Wisdom 16:11

You did sting them in order to remind them of the things that you had told them. But you came to their rescue quickly so that they might not fall into a deep forgetfulness of your goodwill toward them.
For they were examined for the remembrance of thy words, and were quickly healed, lest falling into deep forgetfulness, they might not be able to use thy help.
They were bitten so that they would remember your commands, but they were quickly rescued, in order to keep them from forgetting you completely and depriving themselves of your kindness.
For as a reminder of your injunctions, they were stung, and swiftly they were saved, Lest they should fall into deep forgetfulness and become unresponsive to your beneficence.
They were bitten so that they would be reminded of your decrees, and then they were quickly healed so that they would not fall into profound forgetfulness and fail to respond to your kindness.
To remind them of your oracles they were bitten, and then were quickly delivered, so that they would not fall into deep forgetfulness and become unresponsive to your kindness.
To remind them of your oracles they were bitten, and then were quickly delivered, so that they would not fall into deep forgetfulness and become unresponsive to your kindness.
To remind them of your oracles they were bitten, and then were quickly delivered, so that they would not fall into deep forgetfulness and become unresponsive to your kindness.
To remind them of your oracles they were bitten and then were quickly delivered, so that they would not fall into deep forgetfulness and become unresponsive to your kindness.
To remind them of thy oracles they were bitten, and then were quickly delivered, lest they should fall into deep forgetfulness and become unresponsive to thy kindness.
To remind them of thy oracles they were bitten, and then were quickly delivered, lest they should fall into deep forgetfulness and become unresponsive to thy kindness.
For they were tormented in mind of (or by) thy words, that is, that they should be mindful of thy behests, and they were healed swiftly; lest they falling into deep forgetting of God, (they) might not use thine help. [In the mind forsooth of thy words they were destroyed, and swiftly they were saved; lest into high forgetting falling, they might not use thine help.]
