As time goes by, his godless custom becomes tradition. Eventually, his custom becomes law, and rulers order the people to worship these carved images.
Then in process of time, wicked custom prevailing, this error was kept as a law, and statues were worshipped by the commandment of tyrants.
As time went on, this ungodly custom became stronger. Finally it became law, and idols were being worshiped at the command of powerful rulers.
Then, in the course of time, the impious practice gained strength and was observed as law, and graven things were worshiped by royal decrees.
With the passing of time this impious custom became established and was observed as a law, and at the command of rulers graven images were worshiped.
Then the ungodly custom, grown strong with time, was kept as a law, and at the command of monarchs carved images were worshipped.
Then the ungodly custom, grown strong with time, was kept as a law, and at the command of monarchs carved images were worshipped.
