Wisdom 11:5
When your people were in need, they were blessed with the very things that you used to punish their enemies.
For by what things their enemies were punished, when their drink failed them, while the children of Israel abounded therewith and rejoiced:
The disasters that punished the Egyptians saved your people when they were in trouble.
For by the things through which their foes were punished they in their need were benefited.
The very means that had served to punish their enemies became a benefit for them in their need.
For through the very things by which their enemies were punished, they themselves received benefit in their need.
For through the very things by which their enemies were punished, they themselves received benefit in their need.
For through the very things by which their enemies were punished, they themselves received benefit in their need.
For through the very things by which their enemies were punished, they themselves received benefit in their need.

For by which things the enemies of them suffered pains, for (the) default(ing) of their drink, and the sons of Israel were glad, when they had plenty; by these things, when these failed to those enemies, it was done well with them. [By those things forsooth that the enemies of them suffered pains, from the defaulting of their drink, and when the sons of Israel had plenty, gladded; by these things, when to them had failed, well with them is done.]
