Don’t argue with rich people, since they might outmatch your resources; for gold has destroyed many, and it has turned aside the hearts of kings.
Contend not with a rich man, lest he bring an action against thee.
Do not quarrel with someone rich; he may bribe people to turn against you. Gold has destroyed many people and corrupted kings.
