Then I remembered your mercy, Lord, and your charity from long ago, that you raise up those who wait for you and save them from the hands of the wicked.
My soul shall praise the Lord even to death.
But then, O Lord, I remembered how merciful you are and what you had done in times past. I remembered that you rescue those who rely on you, that you save them from their enemies.
Then I remembered the mercies of the Lord, his acts of kindness through ages past; For he saves those who take refuge in him, and rescues them from every evil.
Then I remembered your mercy, O Lord, and your kind deeds from the ages. For you deliver those who put their trust in you and rescue them from the power of their enemies.
Then I remembered your mercy, O Lord, and your kindness from of old, for you rescue those who wait for you and save them from the hand of their enemies.
