I called out to the Lord, the father of my master: “Don’t desert me in the time of my distress, when I am helpless before the arrogant.
They compassed me on every side, and there was no one that would help me. I looked for the succour of men, and there was none.
I prayed, O Lord, you are my father; do not abandon me to my troubles when I am helpless against arrogant enemies.
I called out: Lord, you are my Father, my champion, my savior! Do not abandon me in time of trouble, in the midst of storms and dangers.
I cried out: “Lord, you are my Father, and the champion of my salvation; do not abandon me in my days of ordeal, for I am helpless when confronted by the arrogant. I will praise your name continually and sing hymns of thanksgiving.”
I cried out, ‘Lord, you are my Father; do not forsake me in the days of trouble, when there is no help against the proud.
I cried out, ‘Lord, you are my Father; do not forsake me in the days of trouble, when there is no help against the proud.
I cried out, “Lord, you are my Father; do not forsake me in the days of trouble, when there is no help against the proud.
I cried out, “Lord, you are my Father; do not forsake me in the days of trouble, when there is no help against the proud.
I appealed to the Lord, the Father of my lord, not to forsake me in the days of affliction, at the time when there is no help against the proud.
I appealed to the Lord, the Father of my lord, not to forsake me in the days of affliction, at the time when there is no help against the proud.
I called to help the Lord, (the) father of my Lord (or the Father of my Lord), that he forsake not me in the day of my tribulation, and forsake not me without help, in the time of them that be proud. [I inwardly called the Lord, father of my Lord, that he forsake not me in the day of my tribulation, and in time of proud men, without help.]
