The Lord took away David’s sins, and he exalted his power forever. He established his kingdom by agreement; and a glorious throne in Israel.
And he set singers before the altar, and by their voices he made sweet melody.
The Lord forgave David's sin and established his power forever. He made a covenant with him that he and his descendants would reign in splendor over Israel.
