Sirach 42:11

Keep a strict watch over an unruly daughter so that she doesn’t make you an object of ridicule to your enemies, a topic of talk in the city and the assembly of the people, and she shame you before the crowd.
Keep a sure watch over a shameless daughter: lest at any time she make thee become a laughingstock to thy enemies, and a byword in the city, and a reproach among the people, and she make thee ashamed before all the multitude.
Keep a close watch over your daughter if she is determined to have her own way. If you don't, she may make a fool of you in front of your enemies. You will be a constant joke to everyone in town, a public disgrace. Make sure that her room has no windows or any place where she can look out to the entrance of the house.
My son, keep a close watch on your daughter, lest she make you a laughingstock for your enemies, A byword in the city and the assembly of the people, an object of derision in public gatherings. See that there is no lattice in her room, or spot that overlooks the approaches to the house.
Keep a close watch on a headstrong daughter, lest she make you an object of ridicule to your enemies, causing you to be the talk of the town, the subject of gossip, and an object of derision in public gatherings. Make sure that her room has no lattice, no spot that overlooks the approaches to the house.
Keep strict watch over a headstrong daughter, or she may make you a laughing-stock to your enemies, a byword in the city and the assembly of the people, and put you to shame in public gatherings. See that there is no lattice in her room, no spot that overlooks the approaches to the house.

Keep strict watch over a headstrong daughter, lest she make you a laughingstock to your enemies, a byword in the city and notorious among the people, and put you to shame before the great multitude.

Ordain thou keeping on a lecherous daughter, lest any time she make thee to come into shame to (thine) enemies, of backbiting in the city, and of casting out of the people; and she make thee ashamed in the multitude of people. [Upon a lecherous daughter set ward, lest any time she make thee into reproof to come to thine enemies, of backbiting in the city, and of casting away of the people; and she confound thee in the multitude of the people.]
