Don’t fear death’s judgment; remember those who came before you and those who will come after you.
O death, thy sentence is welcome to the man that is in need, and to him whose strength faileth:
Do not be afraid of death's decree. Remember that it came to those before you and will come to those after you.
Do not fear death’s decree for you; remember, it embraces those before you and those to come.
Do not fear death’s sentence; remember it embraces those who preceded you and those who will come after.
