Sirach 3:24
Speculation has led many people astray, and false conjectures have weakened their thoughts.
In unnecessary matters be not over curious, and in many of his works thou shalt not be inquisitive.
Many people have been misled by their own opinions; their wrong ideas have warped their judgment.
Indeed, many are the conceits of human beings; evil imaginations lead them astray.
Many have been led astray by their own presumptions, and false deductions have impaired their judgments.
For their conceit has led many astray, and wrong opinion has impaired their judgement.
