The scribe’s wisdom depends on the opportunity for leisure, and whoever lacks busyness will become wise.
When the dead is at rest, let his remembrance rest, and comfort him in the departing of his spirit.
Scholars must have time to study if they are going to be wise; they must be relieved of other responsibilities.
The scribe’s wisdom increases wisdom; whoever is free from toil can become wise.
Leisure affords the scribe the opportunity to increase in wisdom; only the one who is burdened by few tasks can become wise.
The wisdom of the scribe depends on the opportunity of leisure; only the one who has little business can become wise.
