Sirach 37:11

Don’t consult with a woman about her rival, or with the cowardly about war; or with a merchant about business, or with a buyer about a sale; or with a slanderer about gratitude, or with the unmerciful about kindness; or with the idle about anything involving work, or with an annual laborer about finishing a job; or with a lazy household slave about a large task. Don’t look to these persons for any advice.
Thy way is good; and then stand on the other side to see what shall befall thee.
Don't ask a woman for advice about a rival of hers, a coward about war, a merchant about a bargain, a buyer about selling, a stingy person about gratitude, a cruel person about kindness, a lazy person about work, a casual worker about finishing a job, a lazy slave about a difficult task.
Seek no advice from a woman about her rival, from a coward about war, from a merchant about business, from a buyer about value, from a miser about generosity, from a cruel person about well-being, from a worthless worker about his work, from a seasonal laborer about the harvest, from an idle slave about a great task— pay no attention to any advice they give.
Never consult with a woman about her rival or with a coward about war, with a merchant about business or with a buyer about selling, with a miser about generosity or with a cruel person about goodness of heart, with an idler about any kind of work or with a casual worker about completing the job, with a lazy servant about a large undertaking: do not depend on these for any counsel.
Do not consult with a woman about her rival or with a coward about war, with a merchant about business or with a buyer about selling, with a miser about generosity or with the merciless about kindness, with an idler about any work or with a seasonal labourer about completing his work, with a lazy servant about a big task— pay no attention to any advice they give.

Do not consult with a woman about her rival or with a coward about war, with a merchant about barter or with a buyer about selling, with a grudging man about gratitude or with a merciless man about kindness, with an idler about any work or with a man hired for a year about completing his work, with a lazy servant about a big task— pay no attention to these in any matter of counsel.

With a fearedful man treat thou (not) of (or about) battle, with a merchant (not) of (or about) carrying over of merchandises to chapping,; with a buyer, (not) of (or about) selling, with an envious man, (not) of (or about) graces to be done; with an unpiteous man, (not) of (or about) pity, with an unhonest man, (not) of (or about) honesty, with a workman of the field, (not) of (or about) each work; with a workman hired by the year, (not) of (or about) the ending of the year, with a slow servant, (not) of (or about) much working. Give thou not attention to these men in all counsel, [and with a woman of those things that she envieth. Do thou not counsel with him that hath thee suspect, and from men envying to thee, hide thou thy counsel. With the dreadful treat of battle, and with the merchant, treat of (ex)changing; with the buyer, of selling, with the envious man, of graces to be done; with the unpiteous, of pity, with the unhonest, of honesty, with the worker, of all work; with the annual worker, of the full ending of the year, with the slow servant, of much working. Take thou not heed to these in all counsel,]
