Sirach 34:22
the gifts of those who don’t follow the Law are not acceptable.
The Lord is only for them that wait upon him in the way of truth and justice.
It is murder to deprive someone of his living or to cheat an employee of his wages.
Presents from the lawless do not win God’s favor.

To take away a neighbor’s living is to murder him; to deprive an employee of his wages is to shed blood.
