Sirach 28:10

A fire burns in proportion to its fuel, and conflict increases the longer it continues. The more powerful individuals are, the stronger their anger will be; and the wealthier they are, the more their wrath will increase.
Refrain from strife, and thou shalt diminish thy sins:
The more fuel, the hotter the fire. The more stubbornness, the hotter the argument. And the stronger or richer people are, the angrier they can afford to become.
The more the wood, the greater the fire, the more the cruelty, the fiercer the strife; The greater the strength, the sterner the anger, the greater the wealth, the greater the wrath.
The more fuel there is, the fiercer the fire will burn; the greater the obstinacy shown, the fiercer will be the strife. The greater is the power of a man, the greater will be his anger; the greater his wealth, the greater his wrath will be.
In proportion to the fuel, so will the fire burn, and in proportion to the obstinacy, so will strife increase; in proportion to a person’s strength will be his anger, and in proportion to his wealth he will increase his wrath.
In proportion to the fuel, so will the fire burn, and in proportion to the obstinacy, so will strife increase; in proportion to a person’s strength will be his anger, and in proportion to his wealth he will increase his wrath.
In proportion to the fuel, so will the fire burn, and in proportion to the obstinacy, so will strife increase; in proportion to a person’s strength will be his anger, and in proportion to his wealth he will increase his wrath.
In proportion to the fuel, so will the fire burn, and in proportion to the obstinacy, so will strife increase; in proportion to people’s strength will be their anger, and in proportion to their wealth they will increase their wrath.
In proportion to the fuel for the fire, so will be the burning, and in proportion to the obstinacy of strife will be the burning; in proportion to the strength of the man will be his anger, and in proportion to his wealth he will heighten his wrath.
In proportion to the fuel for the fire, so will be the burning, and in proportion to the obstinacy of strife will be the burning; in proportion to the strength of the man will be his anger, and in proportion to his wealth he will heighten his wrath.
For why after the trees of the wood, so fire shall burn on high; and after the might of a man, so his wrathfulness shall be, and after his chattel he shall enhance his ire. [After forsooth the trees of the wood, so the fire burneth; and after the virtue of a man, so the wrath of him shall be, and after his substance he shall enhance his wrath.]
