Sirach 22:18

A protective barrier set on a high place will never endure against the wind. So a timid heart backed up by a fool’s plan will never endure against any fear.
Sand and salt, and a mass of iron is easier to bear, than a man without sense, that is both foolish and wicked.
Small stones on top of a wall will not stay put when the wind blows, and a person whose stupid ideas have made him timid will not be able to stand up to frightening situations.
Small stones lying on an open height will not remain when the wind blows; So a timid mind based on foolish plans cannot stand up to fear of any kind.
Fences lying on a high place will not stand firm against the wind. Neither can a mind made timid by foolish plans withstand any kind of fear.
Fences set on a high place will not stand firm against the wind; so a timid mind with a fool’s resolve will not stand firm against any fear.
Fences set on a high place will not stand firm against the wind; so a timid mind with a fool’s resolve will not stand firm against any fear.
Fences set on a high place will not stand firm against the wind; so a timid mind with a fool’s resolve will not stand firm against any fear.
Fences set on a high place will not stand firm against the wind; so a timid mind with a fool’s resolve will not stand firm against any fear.
Fences set on a high place will not stand firm against the wind; so a timid heart with a fool’s purpose will not stand firm against any fear.
Fences set on a high place will not stand firm against the wind; so a timid heart with a fool’s purpose will not stand firm against any fear.
As chaffs in high places, and sand without meddling of him [or and mortar without due cost], set against the face of the wind, shall not dwell; so and a dreadful heart in the thought [or in the thinking] of a fool against-standeth not against the fierceness of dread. As adorning, either pargeting, full of gravel in a clear wall, so and a fearedful heart in the thought of a fool [or so and the trembling heart in the thinking of a fool] shall not dread in any time; so and he that dwelleth (for)ever[more] in the behests (or the commands) of God.
