Sirach 22:11

Weep for the dead, for they have left the light behind; and weep for fools, for they have left understanding behind. Weep sweetly over the dead, because they are at rest, but the life of a fool is worse than death.
Weep but a little for the dead, for he is at rest.
We mourn for the dead because they have no access to light. We ought to mourn for fools, because they have no access to intelligence. In fact, we should go into deeper mourning for fools, because the life they lead is worse than death. The dead are at least at rest.
Weep over the dead, for their light has gone out; weep over the fool, for sense has left him. Weep but less bitterly over the dead, for they are at rest; worse than death is the life of a fool.
Weep for the dead man, for he has taken leave of the light; weep for the fool, for he has taken leave of his wits. Weep fewer tears for the dead man, for he is at rest, but the life of a fool is sadder than death.
Weep for the dead, for he has left the light behind; and weep for the fool, for he has left intelligence behind. Weep less bitterly for the dead, for he is at rest; but the life of the fool is worse than death.
Weep for the dead, for he has left the light behind; and weep for the fool, for he has left intelligence behind. Weep less bitterly for the dead, for he is at rest; but the life of the fool is worse than death.
Weep for the dead, for he has left the light behind; and weep for the fool, for he has left intelligence behind. Weep less bitterly for the dead, for he is at rest; but the life of the fool is worse than death.
Weep for the dead, for they have left the light behind, and weep for the fool, for they have left intelligence behind. Weep less bitterly for the dead, for they are at rest, but the life of the fool is worse than death.
Weep for the dead, for he lacks the light; and weep for the fool, for he lacks intelligence; weep less bitterly for the dead, for he has attained rest; but the life of the fool is worse than death.
Weep for the dead, for he lacks the light; and weep for the fool, for he lacks intelligence; weep less bitterly for the dead, for he has attained rest; but the life of the fool is worse than death.
Weep thou on (or for) a dead man, for why his light failed [or forsooth the light of him failed]; and weep thou on (or for) a fool, for he failed of wit. Weep thou a little on (or for) a dead man, for he hath rested. Forsooth the life of a full wicked man is full wicked, more than the death of a fool.
