Sirach 12:11
If they are humbled and walk away stooped over, look after yourself, and keep up your guard against them. You will be to them as one who polishes a mirror, and you will know that it won’t be completely tarnished.
Though he humble himself and go crouching, yet take good heed and beware of him.
Watch out, and be on guard against him, even if he acts ever so humble. He is like a metal mirror that rusts away if you don't keep it polished.
Even though they act deferentially and peaceably toward you, take care to be on your guard against them. Treat them as those who reveal secrets, and be certain that in the end there will still be envy.
Even if he humbles himself and walks bowed down, take care to be on your guard against him. Be to him like one who polishes a mirror, to be sure it does not become completely tarnished.

Even if he humbles himself and goes about cringing, watch yourself, and be on your guard against him; and you will be to him like one who has polished a mirror, and you will know that it was not hopelessly tarnished.

Though he be made meek, and go low, cast away thy soul, and keep thee from him. [And if meeked he go crooked, throw away thy will, and keep thee from him.]
