Sirach 11:24
Don’t say, “I have enough. What harm can come upon me from now on?”
The blessing of God maketh haste to reward the just, and in a swift hour his blessing beareth fruit.
On the other hand, don't think that you have everything you need or that nothing can go wrong for you in the future.
Do not say: “I am self-sufficient. What harm can come to me now?”
Do not say, “I am self-sufficient; what harm can come to me now?”
Do not say, ‘I have enough, and what harm can come to me now?’
Do not say, ‘I have enough, and what harm can come to me now?’
Do not say, “I have enough, and what harm can come to me now?”
Do not say, “I have enough, and what harm can come to me now?”
Do not say, “I have enough, and what calamity could happen to me in the future?”
Do not say, “I have enough, and what calamity could happen to me in the future?”
Say thou not, I am sufficient, and what shall I be made worse hereafter?
