Sirach 3:11

A father’s honor is the starting point for his children’s reputation, and a mother in disrepute is a disgrace to her children.
The father's blessing establisheth the houses of the children: but the mother's curse rooteth up the foundation.
Your own honor comes from the respect that you show to your father. If children do not honor their mothers, it is their own disgrace.
A father’s glory is glory also for oneself; they multiply sin who demean their mother.
The honor of a father is one’s own honor as well, and the dishonor of a mother is a disgrace to her children.
The glory of one’s father is one’s own glory, and it is a disgrace for children not to respect their mother.
The glory of one’s father is one’s own glory, and it is a disgrace for children not to respect their mother.
The glory of one’s father is one’s own glory, and it is a disgrace for children not to respect their mother.
The honor of one’s father is one’s own glory, and a mother dishonored is a disgrace to her children.
For a man’s glory comes from honoring his father, and it is a disgrace for children not to respect their mother.
For a man’s glory comes from honoring his father, and it is a disgrace for children not to respect their mother.
For why the glory of a man is of the honour of his father; and the shame (or the reproof) of the son is a father without honour.
