They cried out to their God, and he sent incurable plagues upon the entire land of Egypt, so that the Egyptians drove them out of their sight.
The God of heaven opened the sea to them in their flight, so that the waters were made to stand firm as a wall on either side, and they walked through the bottom of the sea and passed it dry foot.
But they prayed to their god, and he sent disasters that left the Egyptians helpless. When the Egyptians drove them out of the country,
