New generations have seen the light and lived on the earth, but they didn’t know the way of knowledge.
Young men have seen the light, and dwelt upon the earth: but the way of knowledge they have not known,
A later generation was born and lived in the land, but they too did not discover the way to knowledge. They did not find the path to Wisdom or ever reach her.
Later generations have seen the light of day, have dwelt on the earth, But the way to understanding they have not known,
Succeeding generations have seen the light of day and have come to dwell in the land, but the way to knowledge they have not learned;
Later generations have seen the light of day, and have lived upon the earth; but they have not learned the way to knowledge, nor understood her paths, nor laid hold of her.
