2 Maccabees 7:11
and stated with dignity, “I have received these limbs from heaven, and I give them up for the sake of God’s laws. But I hope to recover them from God again.”
And said with confidence: These I have from heaven, but for the laws of God I now despise them: because I hope to receive them again from him.
and courageously said, God gave these to me. But his laws mean more to me than my hands, and I know God will give them back to me again.
as he spoke these noble words: “It was from Heaven that I received these; for the sake of his laws I disregard them; from him I hope to receive them again.”
as he said: “It was from Heaven that I received these. For the sake of his laws I disdain them. From him I hope to receive them again.”
and said nobly, ‘I got these from Heaven, and because of his laws I disdain them, and from him I hope to get them back again.’
and said nobly, ‘I got these from Heaven, and because of his laws I disdain them, and from him I hope to get them back again.’
and said nobly, “I got these from Heaven, and because of his laws I disdain them, and from him I hope to get them back again.”

and said with trust, Of heaven I wield these limbs, but for the laws of God now I despise these same; for I hope, that I shall receive those [or them] of (or from) him (again).
