He, who had exiled many from their homeland, died in a foreign land after he sailed to the Spartans to seek protection because of their kinship.
And he that had driven many out of their country, perished in a strange land, going to Lacedemon, as if for kindred sake he should have refuge there:
then to Greece, hoping to find refuge among the Spartans, who were related to the Jews. Finally, this man, who had forced so many others to flee from their own country, died as a fugitive in a foreign land.
he set out by sea for the Lacedaemonians, among whom he hoped to find protection because of his relations with them. He who had exiled so many from their country perished in exile;
From there he crossed the sea to Sparta, where he hoped to obtain sanctuary because of the Spartans’ kinship with him. There, he who had sent into exile so many children of his homeland, died himself in exile.
There he who had driven many from their own country into exile died in exile, having embarked to go to the Lacedaemonians in hope of finding protection because of their kinship.
There he who had driven many from their own country into exile died in exile, having embarked to go to the Lacedaemonians in hope of finding protection because of their kinship.

and he who had driven many from their own country into exile died in exile, having embarked to go to the Lacedaemo′nians in hope of finding protection because of their kinship.
And he that had put out many of their country, perished in pilgrimage, and went [or going] to (the) Lacedaemonians, (or to the Spartans), as for cousinage to have there refuge.
