Some who had accompanied him went along to mark the way but couldn’t find it again.
Then some of them that followed him, came up to mark the place: but they could not find it.
Some of Jeremiah's friends tried to follow him and mark the way, but they could not find the cave.
Some of those who followed him came up intending to mark the path, but they could not find it.
Some of his companions came up later with the intention of marking out the path, but they were unable to find it.
Some of those who followed him came up intending to mark the way, but could not find it.
