Beginning to sing hymns in the native language with a loud voice, he suddenly made an attack against Gorgias’ men and defeated them.
Then beginning in his own language, and singing hymns with a loud voice, he put Gorgias' soldiers to flight.
Then, while Judas sang a hymn in his native language as a battle cry, the Jews made a surprise attack against Gorgias and his men and put them to flight.
