The Hasideans were the first among the Israelites to seek peace with them.
And first the Assideans that were among the children of Israel, and they sought peace of them.
These devout and patriotic men were the first of the Jews to try to make peace with Alcimus and Bacchides.
The Hasideans were the first among the Israelites to seek peace with them,
