He also took note of the wickedness of Baean’s sons, who were trapping, catching, and ambushing people on the highways.
And he remembered the malice of the children of Bean: who were a snare and a stumblingblock to the people, by lying in wait for them in the way.
He also dealt with the people of Baean, who were a constant threat to the people of Israel, because they would lie in ambush waiting to trap Israelite travelers.
