1 Maccabees 11:33
We have decided to treat the nation of the Jews well. They are our friends and keep their obligations to us. They show goodwill toward us.
We have determined to do good to the nation of the Jews who are our friends, and keep the things that are just with us, for their good will which they bear towards us.
I have decided to grant the Jewish nation certain benefits because they are our loyal allies and keep their treaty obligations.
Upon the Jewish nation, who are our friends and observe their obligations to us, we have decided to bestow benefits because of the good will they show us.
Since the Jewish people are our friends and fulfill their obligations to us, we have decided to reward them.
We have determined to do good to the nation of the Jews, who are our friends and fulfil their obligations to us, because of the goodwill they show towards us.
