When Bacchides saw that Alcimus was dead, he returned to the king. The land of Judah was quiet for two years.
And Bacchides saw that Alcimus was dead: and he returned to the king, and the land was quiet for two years.
When Bacchides learned that Alcimus was dead, he returned to King Demetrius, and the land of Judea had peace for two years.
Seeing that Alcimus was dead, Bacchides returned to the king, and the land of Judah was at rest for two years.
On learning that Alcimus was dead, Bacchides returned to the king, and the land of Judah was left in peace for two years.
