Then the king’s officers spoke to Mattathias: “You’re a leader, honored and important in this town, and supported by sons and brothers.
And they that were sent from Antiochus, answering, said to Mathathias: Thou art a ruler, and an honourable, and great man in this city, and adorned with sons, and brethren.
The king's officials said to Mattathias, You are a respected leader in this town, and you have the support of your sons and relatives.
Then the officers of the king addressed Mattathias: “You are a leader, an honorable and great man in this city, supported by sons and kindred.
Then the officers of the king addressed Mattathias in these words: “You are a leader in this town, respected and influential, and you have the support of your sons and brothers.
Then the king’s officers spoke to Mattathias as follows: ‘You are a leader, honoured and great in this town, and supported by sons and brothers.
