Then Alexander died, having ruled for twelve years.
And he called his servants the nobles that were brought up with him from his youth: and he divided his kingdom among them, while he was yet alive.
When Alexander had been emperor for twelve years, he fell ill and realized that he was about to die. He called together his generals, noblemen who had been brought up with him since his early childhood, and he divided his empire, giving a part to each of them.
Alexander had reigned twelve years when he died.
Then, in the twelfth year of his reign, Alexander died.
And after Alexander had reigned for twelve years, he died.
And after Alexander had reigned for twelve years, he died.
And after Alexander had reigned twelve years, he died.
And after Alexander had reigned twelve years, he died.
And after Alexander had reigned twelve years, he died.
And after Alexander had reigned twelve years, he died.
And (so) Alexander reigned twelve years, and was dead.
