1 Maccabees 10:70

You are the only one to oppose us. I have fallen into ridicule and disgrace because of you. Why do you assume authority against us in the highlands?
Saying: Thou alone standest against us, and I am laughed at, and reproached, because thou shewest thy power against us in the mountains.
Because of you I am being ridiculed, but why do you, there in your mountains, continue this rebellion when no one supports you?
“You are the only one who resists us. I am laughed at and put to shame on your account. Why are you exercising authority against us in the mountains?
“You are the only one who has seen fit to rise up against us. Because of you, I have been assailed by ridicule and brought into disgrace. Why do you flaunt your authority against us in the hill country?
‘You are the only one to rise up against us, and I have fallen into ridicule and disgrace because of you. Why do you assume authority against us in the hill country?

“You are the only one to rise up against us, and I have fallen into ridicule and disgrace because of you. Why do you assume authority against us in the hill country?
“You are the only one to rise up against us, and I have become a laughingstock and reproach because of you. Why do you assume authority against us in the hill country?
“You are the only one to rise up against us, and I have become a laughingstock and reproach because of you. Why do you assume authority against us in the hill country?
Thou alone against-standest us; I am made into scorn and shame (or reproof) therefore, for thou hauntest power in (the) hills against us.
