1 Maccabees 9:58

Then all the people who did not live by the Law developed a plan and said, “Look! Jonathan and his people are living in quiet and confidence. Now let’s bring Bacchides back—he’ll capture them all in one night.”
And all the wicked held a council, saying: Behold Jonathan, and they that are with him, dwell at ease, and without fear: now therefore let us bring Bacchides hither, and he shall take them all in one night.
Then all the renegades got together and said, Look, Jonathan and his men are living in peace and security. If we bring Bacchides here now, he can capture them all in a single night.
Then all the lawless took counsel and said: “Jonathan and those with him are living in peace and security. Now then, let us have Bacchides return, and he will capture all of them in a single night.”
Then all the renegades gathered together in council. “Now is the time,” they said, “with Jonathan and his people living in peace and security, for us to bring back Bacchides, and he will capture all of them in a single night.”
Then all the lawless plotted and said, ‘See! Jonathan and his men are living in quiet and confidence. So now let us bring Bacchides back, and he will capture them all in one night.’
