They trust one man each year to rule over them and to control all their land. All listen to this one man, and there is no envy or jealousy among the Romans.
And that they committed their government to one man every year, to rule over all their country, and they all obey one, and there is no envy, nor jealousy amongst them.
Each year they entrusted to one man the responsibility of governing them and controlling their whole territory. Everyone obeyed this one man, and there was no envy or jealousy among them.
