1 Maccabees 7:37
You, heavenly one, chose this house to be called by your name and to be a house of prayer and petition for your people.
Thou, O Lord, hast chosen this house for thy name to be called upon therein, that it might be a house of prayer and supplication for thy people.
Lord, you chose this Temple to bear your name and to be a place of prayer and intercession for your people.
“You have chosen this house to bear your name, to be a house of prayer and supplication for your people.

‘You chose this house to be called by your name, and to be for your people a house of prayer and supplication.
