When the sun shone on the gold and brass shields, the hills looked like they were on fire from their reflection and glowed like burning torches.
Now when the sun shone upon the shields of gold, and of brass, the mountains glittered therewith, and they shone like lamps of fire.
The sunlight, reflected off the bronze and gold shields, shone on the mountains and flashed like burning torches.
When the sun shone on the gold and bronze shields, the mountains gleamed with their brightness and blazed like flaming torches.
