1 Maccabees 10:83
The cavalry was dispersed in the plain. They fled to Azotus and entered Beth-dagon, the temple of their idol, to seek safety.
And they that were scattered about the plain, fled into Azotus, and went into Bethdagon their idol's temple, there to save themselves.
The cavalry, which by now was scattered all over the battlefield, fled to Azotus, where they took refuge in the temple of Dagon, their god.
