Praise to God for His Deliverance

For the music director. Of David, the servant of Yahweh,

who spoke to Yahweh the words of this song

when^[a] Yahweh delivered him from the hand of all his enemies,

and from the hand of Saul.^[b]

18 And he said:
“I love you, O Yahweh, my strength.”
²Yahweh is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer,
my God, my rock in whom I have taken refuge,
my shield and the horn of my deliverance, my stronghold.
