18 لَقَدْ دُفِعَ ثَمَنُ تَحريرِكُمْ مِنْ أُسلُوبِ حَيَاتِكُمُ العَقِيمِ الَّذِي وَرِثتُمُوهُ عَنْ آبَائِكُمْ، لَا بِمَالٍ مَسبُوكٍ مِنْ مَوَادَّ فَانيَةٍ كَالفِضَّةِ أوْ الذَّهَبِ، 19 بَلْ بِدَمِ المَسِيحِ الثَّمِينِ، دَمِ حَمَلٍ سَلِيمٍ خَالٍ مِنَ العُيُوبِ.
