But No One Knows The Day Or Hour, So Keep Watching

³² “But no one knows about that day or the hour— not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son— except the Father. ³³ Be watching out, be keeping-alert, for you do not know when the time is. ³⁴ It is like a man away-on-a-journey. Having left his house and having given authority to his slaves— to each^[a] as to his work— he also commanded the doorkeeper that he should be keeping-watch. ³⁵ Therefore, keep watching— for you do not know when the master of the house is coming, whether evening^[b] or midnight or rooster-crowing or early-morning— ³⁶ that having come suddenly, he may not find you sleeping. ³⁷ And what I say to you I say to everyone: ‘Keep watching’”.
