羅 馬 書 5:6-11
6 当我们不能拯救自己时，基督为我们死了。那时我们生活在与上帝做对之中， 基督便是在这个恰当的时刻为我们而死的。 7 很少有人为救别人的生命而死，甚至这人是个好人，为他而死的人也很少，也许会有人会为特别好的人去死。 8 但是，当我们还是罪人时，基督却为我们而死，上帝以此展示出了他对我们深厚的爱。
9 由于基督血的奉献，我们得到了上帝的认可，所以，通过基督，我们肯定会得以拯救，免遭上帝的愤怒。 10 当我们还是上帝的敌人时，通过他儿子的死，他让我们成为朋友。既然我们现在是上帝的朋友，那么，更加肯定，借着基督的生，上帝将拯救我们。 11 不仅我们将被拯救，通过我们主耶稣基督，我们还会为上帝为我们做的事欢喜庆祝。因为耶稣，我们现在成为上帝的朋友。
