耶稣的门徒误解他
14 耶稣的门徒们忘了多带些面包，他们只带了一块面包上船。 15 耶稣提醒他们说∶“当心！要提防法利赛人和希律的酵母 [a]。”
16 门徒们私下议论说∶“他这么说是因为我们没有面包了！”
17 耶稣知道他们在讲什么，就对他们说∶“你们为什么议论说没有面包呢？难道你们还不明白吗？你们竟然会这么顽固吗？ 18 你们有眼睛－难道看不见吗？你们有耳朵－难道听不见吗？ 19 你们难道不记得，我把五块面包分给五千人吃，你们收拾起的残渣剩饭装满了多少筐吗？”
“十二筐。”门徒们回答。
20 耶稣又问∶“那么，我把七块面包分给四千人吃的时候，你们收拾起的残渣剩饭装满了多少筐呢？”
“七筐。”门徒们说。
21 然后，耶稣对他们说∶“你们还不明白吗？”
