Psalm 95

Let Us Kneel Before Yahweh Our Maker

95 Oh come, let us (A)sing for joy to Yahweh,
Let us make a loud shout to (B)the rock of our salvation.
Let us (C)come before His presence (D)with [a]thanksgiving,
Let us make a loud shout to Him (E)with songs of praise.
For Yahweh is a (F)great God
And a great King (G)above all gods,
In whose hand are the (H)depths of the earth,
The peaks of the mountains are His also.
[b]The sea is His, for it was He (I)who made it,
And His hands formed the dry land.

Come, let us (J)worship and bow down,
Let us (K)kneel before Yahweh our (L)Maker.
For He is our God,
And (M)we are the people of His (N)pasture and the sheep of His hand.
(O)Today, [c]if you hear His voice,
Do not harden your hearts, as at [d](P)Meribah,
As in the day of [e](Q)Massah in the wilderness,
“When your fathers (R)tried Me,
They tested Me, though they had seen My work.
10 For (S)forty years I loathed that generation,
And said they are a people who wander in their heart,
And they do not know My ways.
11 Therefore I (T)swore in My anger,
They shall never enter into My (U)rest.”

Micah 7:8-20

(A)Do not be glad over me, O (B)my enemy.
Though I fall I will (C)rise;
Though I inhabit the darkness, Yahweh is a (D)light for me.

I will bear the rage of Yahweh
Because I have sinned against Him,
Until He (E)pleads my case and does justice for me.
He will bring me out to the (F)light,
And I will see His [a](G)righteousness.
10 Then my enemy will see,
And shame will cover her who (H)said to me,
“Where is Yahweh your God?”
My eyes will look on her;
[b]At that time she will [c]be (I)trampled down
Like mire of the streets.
11 It will be a day for (J)building your walls.
On that day your boundary will be extended.
12 It will be a day when [d]they will (K)come to you
From Assyria and the cities of Egypt,
From Egypt even to the [e]River,
Even from sea to sea and mountain to mountain.
13 And the earth will become (L)desolate because of her inhabitants,
On account of the (M)fruit of their deeds.

14 (N)Shepherd Your people with Your (O)scepter,
The flock of Your inheritance
Which dwells by itself in the forest,
In the midst of [f]a fruitful orchard.
Let them feed in (P)Bashan and Gilead
(Q)As in the ancient days.
15 “As in the days when you came out from the land of Egypt,
I will show [g](R)you wondrous deeds.”
16 Nations (S)will see and be ashamed
Of all their might.
They will (T)put their hand on their mouth;
Their ears will be deaf.
17 They will (U)lick the dust like a serpent,
Like (V)crawling things of the earth.
They will come (W)trembling out of their [h]fortresses;
To Yahweh our God they will come in (X)dread,
And they will be afraid before You.
18 Who is a God like You, who (Y)forgives iniquity
And passes over the transgression of the (Z)remnant of His inheritance?
He does not (AA)hold fast to His anger forever
Because He (AB)delights in lovingkindness.
19 He will again have compassion on us;
(AC)He will subdue our iniquities.
And You will (AD)cast all [i]their sins
Into the depths of the sea.
20 You will give [j](AE)truth to Jacob
And lovingkindness to Abraham,
Which You (AF)swore to our fathers
From the days of old.

Mark 14:26-31

26 (A)And after singing a hymn, they went out to (B)the Mount of Olives.

27 (C)And Jesus *said to them, “You will all [a]fall away, because it is written, ‘(D)I will strike down the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered.’ 28 But after I have been raised, (E)I will go ahead of you to Galilee.” 29 But Peter said to Him, “Even though all may [b]fall away, yet I will not.” 30 And Jesus *said to him, “Truly I say to you, that (F)today, this very night, before (G)a rooster crows twice, you yourself will deny Me three times.” 31 But Peter kept saying insistently, “If I have to die with You, I will not deny You!” And they all were saying the same thing also.
