Psalm 105:1-6

Remember His Wondrous Deeds

105 Oh (A)give thanks to Yahweh, (B)call upon His name;
(C)Make known His acts among the peoples.
Sing to Him, (D)sing praises to Him;
(E)Muse on all His wondrous deeds.
Boast in His holy name;
Let the (F)heart of those who seek Yahweh be glad.
Inquire of Yahweh and (G)His strength;
(H)Seek His face continually.
Remember His (I)wondrous deeds which He has done,
His miracles and the (J)judgments [a]uttered by His mouth,
O seed of (K)Abraham, His servant,
O sons of (L)Jacob, His (M)chosen ones!

Psalm 105:16-22

16 And He (A)called for a famine upon the land;
He (B)broke the whole staff of bread.
17 He (C)sent a man before them,
Joseph, who was (D)sold as a slave.
18 They afflicted his (E)feet with fetters,
[a]He himself was laid in irons;
19 Until the time that his (F)word came to pass,
The word of Yahweh (G)refined him.
20 The (H)king sent and released him,
The ruler of peoples sent and set him free.
21 He (I)set him up as lord of his house
And ruler over all his possessions,
22 To [b]imprison his princes [c](J)at will,
And that he might teach his elders wisdom.

Psalm 105:45

45 So that they might (A)keep His statutes
And observe His laws,
[a]Praise Yah!

Genesis 35:22-29

The Sons of Jacob

22 Now it happened while Israel was dwelling in that land, that (A)Reuben went and lay with Bilhah his father’s concubine, and Israel heard of it.

And there were twelve sons of Jacob—

23 (B)the sons of Leah:
Reuben, Jacob’s firstborn,
then Simeon and Levi and Judah and Issachar and Zebulun;
24 (C)the sons of Rachel:
Joseph and Benjamin;
25 and (D)the sons of Bilhah, Rachel’s servant-woman:
Dan and Naphtali;
26 and (E)the sons of Zilpah, Leah’s servant-woman:
Gad and Asher.

These are the sons of Jacob who were born to him in Paddan-aram.

27 And Jacob came to his father Isaac at (F)Mamre of (G)Kiriath-arba (that is, Hebron), where Abraham and Isaac had sojourned.

28 Now the days of Isaac were (H)180 years. 29 And Isaac breathed his last and died and was (I)gathered to his people, an (J)old man and full of days; and (K)his sons Esau and Jacob buried him.

Acts 17:10-15

In Berea

10 (A)And the brothers immediately sent (B)Paul and Silas away by night to (C)Berea, [a]and when they arrived, they went into (D)the synagogue of the Jews. 11 Now these were more noble-minded than those in (E)Thessalonica, [b]for they received the word with [c]great eagerness, [d]examining the Scriptures daily to see whether these things were so. 12 Therefore (F)many of them believed, along with not a few (G)prominent Greek (H)women and men. 13 But when the Jews of (I)Thessalonica found out that the word of God had been proclaimed by Paul in (J)Berea also, they came there as well, shaking up and disturbing the crowds. 14 Then immediately (K)the brothers sent Paul out to go as far as the sea; and (L)Silas and (M)Timothy remained there. 15 Now (N)those who escorted Paul brought him as far as (O)Athens; and after receiving a command for (P)Silas and Timothy to (Q)come to him as soon as possible, they left.
