New English Translation (NET)
Version
Psalm 119:105-112

נ (Nun)

105 Your word[a] is a lamp to walk by,
and a light to illumine my path.[b]
106 I have vowed and solemnly sworn
to keep your just regulations.
107 I am suffering terribly.
O Lord, revive me with your word.[c]
108 O Lord, please accept the freewill offerings of my praise.[d]
Teach me your regulations.
109 My life is in continual danger,[e]
but I do not forget your law.
110 The wicked lay a trap for me,
but I do not wander from your precepts.
111 I claim your rules as my permanent possession,
for they give me joy.[f]
112 I am determined to obey[g] your statutes
at all times, to the very end.

Isaiah 2:1-4

The Future Glory of Jerusalem

Here is the message about Judah and Jerusalem that was revealed to Isaiah son of Amoz.[a]

In future days[b]
the mountain of the Lord’s temple will endure[c]
as the most important of mountains,
and will be the most prominent of hills.[d]
All the nations will stream to it;
many peoples will come and say,
“Come, let us go up to the Lord’s mountain,
to the temple of the God of Jacob,
so[e] he can teach us his requirements,[f]
and[g] we can follow his standards.”[h]
For Zion will be the center for moral instruction;[i]
the Lord’s message will issue from Jerusalem.
He will judge disputes between nations;
he will settle cases for many peoples.
They will beat their swords into plowshares,[j]
and their spears into pruning hooks.[k]
Nations will not take up the sword against other nations,
and they will no longer train for war.

John 12:44-50

Jesus’ Final Public Words

44 But Jesus shouted out,[a] “The one who believes in me does not believe in me, but in the one who sent me,[b] 45 and the one who sees me sees the one who sent me.[c] 46 I have come as a light into the world, so that everyone who believes in me should not remain in darkness. 47 If anyone[d] hears my words and does not obey them,[e] I do not judge him. For I have not come to judge the world, but to save the world.[f] 48 The one who rejects me and does not accept[g] my words has a judge;[h] the word[i] I have spoken will judge him at the last day. 49 For I have not spoken from my own authority,[j] but the Father himself who sent me has commanded me[k] what I should say and what I should speak. 50 And I know that his commandment is eternal life.[l] Thus the things I say, I say just as the Father has told me.”[m]
