Praise Yahweh!

148 [a]Praise Yah!
Praise Yahweh (A)from the heavens;
Praise Him (B)in the heights!
Praise Him, (C)all His angels;
Praise Him, (D)all His hosts!
Praise Him, sun and moon;
Praise Him, all stars of light!
Praise Him, (E)heavens of heavens,
And the (F)waters that are above the heavens!
Let them praise the name of Yahweh,
For (G)He commanded and they were created.
He caused them to (H)stand forever and ever;
He gave a (I)statute and it will never pass away.

Praise Yahweh from the earth,
(J)Sea monsters and all (K)deeps;
(L)Fire and hail, (M)snow and (N)clouds;
(O)Stormy wind, (P)doing His word;
(Q)Mountains and all hills;
Fruit (R)trees and all cedars;
10 (S)Beasts and all cattle;
(T)Creeping things and winged bird;
11 (U)Kings of the earth and all peoples;
Princes and all [b]judges of the earth;
12 Both choice men as well as virgins;
The old with the young.

13 Let them praise the name of Yahweh,
For His (V)name alone is set on high;
His (W)splendor is above earth and heaven.
14 And He has (X)raised up a horn for His people,
(Y)Praise for all His holy ones;
For the sons of Israel, a people (Z)near to Him.
[c]Praise Yah!

Acts 7:59-8:8

59 They went on stoning Stephen as he (A)was calling out and saying, “Lord Jesus, receive my spirit!” 60 Then (B)falling on his knees, he cried out with a loud voice, “Lord, (C)do not hold this sin against them!” And having said this, he [a](D)fell asleep.

Saul Persecutes the Church

(E)Now Saul was in hearty agreement with putting him to death.

And on that day a great persecution [b]began against (F)the church in Jerusalem, and they were all (G)scattered throughout the regions of Judea and (H)Samaria, except the apostles. And some devout men buried Stephen and made loud lamentation over him. But (I)Saul began ravaging the church, entering house after house, and (J)dragging off men and women, he was delivering them into prison.

Philip Preaches in Samaria

Therefore, those (K)who had been scattered went about, (L)proclaiming the good news of the word. (M)Now Philip went down to the city of Samaria and began preaching [c]Christ to them. And the crowds with one accord were giving attention to what was being said by Philip, as they heard and saw the [d]signs which he was doing. For in the case of many who had (N)unclean spirits, they were coming out of them shouting with a loud voice; and many who had been (O)paralyzed and lame were healed. So there was (P)great joy in that city.
