⁴⁰ So when the Samaritans came to Jesus, they were asking Him to stay with them; and He stayed there two days. ⁴¹ And many more believed because of His word; ⁴² and they were saying to the woman, “It is no longer because of what you said that we believe, for we have heard for ourselves and know that this One is truly ^(A)the Savior of the world.”

³⁹ When they came up out of the water, ^(A)the Spirit of the Lord snatched Philip away, and the eunuch no longer saw him, ^[a]but went on his way rejoicing.
