¹² And it will be that when I leave you, ^(A)the Spirit of Yahweh will carry you where I do not know; and I will come and tell Ahab, and he will not find you, and he will kill me, although I your servant have ^[a]feared Yahweh from my youth.

¹⁶ Then they said to him, “Behold now, there are with your servants fifty excellent men, please let them go and search for your master, lest ^(A)the Spirit of Yahweh has taken him up and cast him on some mountain or into some valley.” And he said, “You shall not send.”

¹² Then the ^(A)Spirit lifted me up, and I heard a great ^(B)rumbling sound behind me, “Blessed be the glory of Yahweh ^[a]in His place.”

¹⁴ So the Spirit lifted me up and took me away; and I went embittered in the wrath of my spirit, and ^(A)the hand of Yahweh was strong on me.

³ He sent forth the form of a hand and took me by a lock of my head; and the ^(A)Spirit lifted me up between earth and heaven and brought me in the visions of God to Jerusalem, to the entrance of the ^[a]north gate of the inner court, where the seat of the figure of jealousy, which ^(B)provokes to jealousy, was located.

Judgment on Evil Counselors

11 Moreover, the ^(A)Spirit lifted me up and brought me to the east gate of the house of Yahweh which faced eastward. And behold, at the entrance of the gate, there were twenty-five men, and I saw among them Jaazaniah son of Azzur and ^(B)Pelatiah son of Benaiah, officials of the people.

²⁴ Now the ^(A)Spirit lifted me up and brought me in a vision by the Spirit of God to the exiles in ^[a]Chaldea. So the vision that I had seen ^(B)went up and away from me.

⁵ And the ^(A)Spirit lifted me up and brought me into the inner court; and behold, the ^(B)glory of Yahweh filled the house.

² I know a man ^(A)in Christ who fourteen years ago—whether in the body I do not know, or out of the body I do not know, ^(B)God knows—such a man was ^(C)caught up to the ^(D)third heaven.
