Psalm 67

Psalm 67[a]

Prayer That All May Worship God

For the director.[b] With stringed instruments. A psalm. A song.

O God, be gracious to us and bless us
    and let your face shine upon us.[c] Selah
[d]Then your ways will be known on earth
    and your salvation among all nations.
Let the peoples praise you, O God;
    let all the peoples praise you.
Let the nations rejoice and exult,
    for you judge the peoples fairly
    and guide the nations upon the earth.[e] Selah
Let the peoples praise you, O God;
    let all the peoples praise you.
The earth has yielded its harvest;
    God, our God, has blessed us.
May God continue to bless us
    and be revered to the ends of the earth.

Proverbs 2:9-15

Then you will understand equity and justice
    as well as righteousness—every good path.
10 For wisdom will enter your heart
    and knowledge will delight your soul.[a]
11 Prudence will protect you,
    and understanding will watch over you.
12 Thus, you will be preserved from the ways of evil
    and from those whose speech is perverse,[b]
13 who stray far from the straight paths[c]
    to walk along roads of darkness,
14 who take pleasure in doing evil
    and delight in leading perverse lives,
15 whose paths are crooked
    and whose ways are devious.

Luke 19:1-10

Chapter 19

Jesus and Zacchaeus, the Rich Tax Collector.[a] Jesus entered Jericho and was passing through it. A man there, named Zacchaeus, was a chief tax collector and a rich man. He wanted to see who Jesus was, but since he was short in stature, he could not see him because of the crowd. Therefore, he ran ahead and climbed a sycamore tree in order to catch a glimpse of him for he was going to pass that way.

When he reached that spot, Jesus looked up and said to him, “Zacchaeus, hurry and come down, for I must stay at your house today.” Zacchaeus came down quickly and welcomed him joyfully.

When the people observed this, they began to complain, saying, “He has gone to be the guest of a man who is a sinner.” But Zacchaeus stood there and said to the Lord, “Behold, Lord, I intend to give half of everything I possess to the poor, and if I have defrauded someone of anything, I will repay that amount four times over.”

Then Jesus said to him, “Today salvation has come to this house, because this man too is a son of Abraham. 10 For the Son of Man has come to seek out and to save what was lost.”
